Piece by Piece is a puzzle game for the Playdate handheld system where you put together a picture one piece at a time. You'll move and rotate a piece that fits somewhere next to the bits of the puzzle you've already put together to try and find the right place for it, and if you don't like your current piece, you can always get a new one.  It's a relaxing and satisfying jigsaw puzzle you can put together on the go.

Featuring 50 chunky one-bit dithered images to put together of a variety of difficulties, it can be harder than your average colorful jigsaw puzzle but just as satisfying.  The lack of tabs and sockets and the black and white artwork means you'll be relying on texture, brightness, and shapes to figure out where each piece goes, but it's by no means impossible!

The game is designed with the Playdate system in mind and uses all the buttons and the crank.  This might make it more cumbersome to play on the official Playdate Simulator, but it's still possible.

Really like all the dithered graphics you choose for the puzzles (and of course awesome to see the Playdate itself in there)! I must not have a great mind for puzzles because even the 1-star puzzles were hard for me!

Hello, great game. I like it allot! But I encountered a weird bug. Sometimes after placing a piece I get the same piece again and I have to place it over the previous one I get an approval sound then continue with game as usual. Happened 3 times over past two games. Version 1.3
